Alexandra Rose Raisman Bio

Alexandra Rose Raisman, born May 25 1994 was an American retired gymnast who was an artistic. She was two-time Olympian. She was the captain of the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the"Fierce Five" in 2016 "Final Five,"" U.S. women’s Olympic gymnastics team. She won a team gold medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to have back-to-back gold medals at this competition. Raisman won silver medals for the individual all-around, and floor exercise. Raisman received silver medals for the individual all-around, in addition to the floor exercise. She also is the two-time national champion of floor exercise (2012,2015) and the 2012 champion national of balance beam, and five times medalist at national championships in the all around (silver in 2016 and silver in 2011, 2012, 2012, and 2012, 2011, and. She was inducted into The International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2013. Raisman was the daughter of Lynn Faber and was an ex-high school gymnast as well as Rick Raisman, on May 25, 1994 in Needham. There are three sisters younger than her: Madison, Chloe, and Brett. Raisman who is Jewish has said that she is very proud in the fact that she is able to represent the United States of America but as well as the Jewish community all over the world. Raisman was a graduate of Needham High School in 2012 following her senior year online classes , while preparing for the Olympics.
