Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actress known for her character Renee Walker in the American television series 24 as well as her motion capture and voice work for the character of Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis and graduated in 1995. She competed in Irish dance during her youth as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching began her acting career as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. She then went on to appear in guest roles on shows like Charmed, Killer Instinct and Supernatural. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character in ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Additionally, she been a part of theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In 2014, she appeared as an episode regular on the first season of Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching was a catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also voiced the character in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's Twitter account before she was seen in the trailer shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would be playing the role of the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
