Alyson Le Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on March 24, 1974. American actor and host of television she is the daughter of actor Alyson Lee Hannigan. She is famous for her roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003), Willow Rosenberg (2005-2014) as well as Lily Aldrin (2005–2014), that earned her a People's Choice Award in 2009. Michelle Flaherty (1999–2012) was also in her credits. Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller: The Fool Us has been on the air since the year 2016. Hannigan is also the voice actor for Claire Clancy's character from Fancy Nancy (2018-2018). Hannigan is the sole daughter of Emilie (Posner) Haas (a real estate agent) and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan's mom is Jewish and her father is Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. When she turned 11, she moved to Hollywood with her mother. When she was in Santa Barbara, her father was a casting agent. She auditioned. After having completed high school, she went to California State University Northridge. In Northridge, she was an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and earned a psychology degree. Hannigan was first seen in the film My Stepmother Is an Alien. Seth Green was also one of her co-stars. He later became her co-star in Buffy. Her first TV series role came in 1989 and she was chosen as an actress in the ABC sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan is her How I Met Your Mother actor, was a teenager when Hannigan became a babysitter to the children of Bob Saget. Hannigan was then chosen to be the character Willow Rosenberg (Buffy Summers' best friend) in the tv show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The actress was given famed national spotlight in 1997. She also cared for Bob Saget's children on How I Met Your Mom. Angel had her reprise her role as the character of Willow in a couple of episodes.
