Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker was born August 2nd on the 2nd of August, 1964. She is an American actress. After her Broadway debut as Rita in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss in 1990 (for which she received a Tony Award nomination), Parker gained notoriety for film roles in Grand Canyon (1991), Fried Green Tomatoes (1991), The Client (1994), Bullets over Broadway (1994), A Place for Annie (1994), Boys on the Side (1995), The Portrait of a Lady (1996) as well as The Maker (1997). Parker received the 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress in an independent film for her performance in David Auburn's Proof of Catherine Llewellyn. In the NBC television series The West Wing she starred again as Amy Gardner, and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sustained actress in the Drama Series. In her role in the role of Harper Pitt in the HBO miniseries Angels in America, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. She also received an award for her performance in the series, a Primetime Emmy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2006, Parker was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. In 2007, Parker received three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She also was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2006 for Best Actress in Red (2010) and Red. (2013), and Red 2 (2012). Parker was back on Broadway in 2019, and she appeared in The Sound Inside. This show won her her third Tony Award for Best Actress. Parker has been contributing articles to Esquire magazine since 2007 before launching Dear Mr. You in 2015. She was the main character of Roma Guy in the ABC miniseries "When We Rise" in 2017. In 2018, she worked as a political advisor on Billions, which is a Showtime show.
