Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo is a Golden Globe nominated
stage, film and TV actor. She was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in New
Jersey. Coyote Ugly was her breakout role. Since then, she's been in films such
as Christopher Nolan's "The Prestige" featuring Hugh Jackman and
Christian Bale, "Because I Said So" with Diane Keaton and "First
Snow" with Guy Pearce, "Cheaper by the Dozen" films with Steve
Martin, "Imagine Me and You" featuring Lena Heady and Matthew Goode
and the crime drama "10th Wolf" featuring an ensemble cast that
included James Marsden and Dennis Hopper. In Rian Johnson's sci-fi action movie
"Looper," she starred alongside Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon
Levitt. Perabo was Annie Walker on USA Network's spy drama "Covert
Affairs" for five seasons. She also appeared in ABC's legal drama
"Notorious" in 2016. You can also watch "Turn Up Charlie"
on Netflix with IdrisElba. Perabo made her Broadway debut in Neil LaBute's
controversial play "Reasons to be Pretty" that was nominated for the
Tony for Best Play. Outside of her acting on screen and stage, Perabo is also
an activist. Perabo is a Voice for the International Rescue Committee and is a
spokesperson for the International Rescue Committee, bringing awareness to the
refugee crisis across the world and supporting those affected by religious
persecution as well as political oppression and conflict. Piper lives in Los
Angeles, New York City. She graduated from Toms River High School North in
1994. She was part of the school's four musicals. The year she was in senior
high school, she was Katie in "Meet Me in St. Louis;" junior year,
Cousin Fan in "Mame;" sophomore year, Lady Brighton in "Me and
My Girl"" and in freshman year, a dancer in "How to Be
Successful in business Without Really Trying." She was the high school
president of the National Honor Society, and she was also the editor for
Polaris the school's literary journal. At the time of her high school
graduation she was a member of the Marinerettes as a dancer for the field show
during the football matches.
